The Søborg Chair comes in several variants.

In 1953, the famous Danish furniture designer Børge Mogensen created the Søborg Chair, as an organic dining chair in moulded plywood. The chair was adapted to the most advanced production methods of the 1950s. With its choice of materials, the chair differs considerably from most of Mogensen’s furniture. Nevertheless, the Søborg chair proves relationship to the classic Shaker-style furniture with its simple lines and quality workmanship, and thanks to its high seating comfort, the chair also fulfils modern requirements.

On the occasion of Børge Mogensen’s 100th anniversary, Fredericia Furniture has relaunched the Søborg Chair in a completely unaltered version. The chair is available in several colour combinations: oak, black, grey or white.
